DADS, In the left double picture I’m trying to get from the left (taken 1 month ago to the right 8 years, 110 lbs ago, a move to the suburbs eating up a lot of my work out time with 2 hrs of commuting ago, an unexpected career change 5 yrs back that was A LOT to deal with emotionally ago, another unexpected total career pivot a year ago due to the pandemic & a 2nd set of twins born to father 5 years ago).Right picture is now 25 pounds down with 60 more to go until goal for a good resting weight for me at 6 foot of 190-195. Been boxing, running, biking, push-ups daily, intermittent fasting, 48 hour fasting once, cut out alcohol & carbs, doing a 5 day juice cleanse now for the 1st time AND drinking LOTS of water & chewing gum ALWAYS!Could use some encouragement to keep it going! I want to be around I to my 80’s & beyond for my KIDS!
I appreciate ANY & ALL words of encouragement. While ultimately I believe in personal accountability, “Where there is a will, there is a way!”, “If it is to be, it is up to me!” & INNER TOUGHNESS (notice I use the word tough and NOT strength because I believe there is a BIG difference dealing with personal choice philosophically between the subtle differences in the words probably for the same reason I like BATMAN over Superman) as well as parenthetical, self effacing & tangential speaking & writing in run on sentences as the only true way to express one’s self, I also in an unexpected COMPLETELY uncharacteristic moment of self promotion as seen in the attached picture KNOW that I am an extreme extrovert & “recharge” from others and feed off interaction and that NO MAN IS AN ISLAND…unless your Tom Hanks for a while in a movie with a volleyball.
